Leiden, The Netherlands, 14 November 2016 - Infradata, leading independent Dutch integrator of secure carrier-grade networks, has acquired French network security company Nomios. With this acquisition, Infradata strengthens its capabilities in network security and will be able to expand its activities in the French marketplace. Nomios focuses on enterprise services and has a strong position in the defense technology, finance and internet/telco industries. The annual revenue of the company is 35 million euros, with an average growth rate of 30% over past years. The acquisition gives a new impulse to the management and more than 70 employees at Nomios, thanks to additional capital to accelerate growth.

“This acquisition is a significant new step, in line with the international growth strategy we implemented last year, when we acquired Quonubes in the UK,” says Leon de Keijzer, CEO at Infradata. “Nomios enhances our expertise in key areas such as advanced network security, cyber security and managed services. The demand for these services continues to get stronger, and this is an area where we expect to see substantial growth in the coming years. Nomios will benefit from our knowledge and solutions, with a focus on the mobile and service provider markets. By building on each other's expertise, we will be able to better service our clients throughout Europe.”

De Keijzer sees a great match between the business cultures of the two companies: “Employees at Nomios have a real can-do attitude, which is also characteristic of Infradata.” “We have great confidence in our joint future. Nomios is active in many of the markets that Infradata specializes in. There are also differences, which will create new opportunities for both companies, in technology as well as in customer segments”, says Sebastien Kher, Nomios CEO. The now finalized acquisition marks the completion of a process that started in January of this year. The acquisition contract was signed in July and has now been approved by the French Ministry for the Economy and Finance. Infradata continues to look for new takeover candidates, in particular in Germany and the UK.
